Mmamosweu Vivian Gunda
Coordinator
Mrs. Gunda has been the coordinator of the Women's NGO Coalition since 1999. She decided to become involved with the Coalition to contribute to the advancement of women in Botswana.

Mrs. Gunda's educational background is in administration and her most recent accomplishment is an Advanced Diploma in Administrative Management with the Institute of Administrative Management in the U.K.

Mrs. Gunda is actively involved in several community initiatives such as:

  • has worked within the  Non-Governmental Organizational sector since January 1987
  • member of the National AIDS Council - the highest policy body in the country on issues of HIV/AIDS
  • Vice Chairperson of Makgotla Land Holdings Company - an initiative that is trying to build NGO sustainability in the country through the construction of an NGO Centre
  • member of the Bostwana Vaccine Trials Community Advisory Board (HIV/AIDS)
  • Founder and first employee of the Botswana Council of Non-Governmental Organizations.
Keabonye Ntsabane
Information Officer
Ms. Ntsabane has been employed at the Coalition as the information officer since 1997. Her role is to publicize the Coalitions ativities through the quarterly magazine, Ke Nako, in the radio and other media venues.

She has also been involved in gathering feedback on the Beijing conference of 1995.

Ms. Ntsabane has her Primary Teacher Certificate. She recently received her High National Diploma in Multi-Media Journalism from the U.K.

Office Assistant Ms. Agnes T. Mogobere with a burning desire to learn more about women's issues, has begun working as Office Assistant with the Women's NGO Coalition since 1999.

Agnes has a Secondary Education and her duties with the Coalition include front-desk reception such as switchboard operating, filing, and other general office procedures such as photocopying, delivering, collecting and sorting mails, preparing and serving tea to staff and visitors  as well as carrying out the general cleaning duties of the office and tilling. 

Agnes enjoys her job very much and is very excited about the knowledge and experience she has gained over the years working with the Coalition.
